Late Memory Monday
Hey everyone! Sorry for the late memory Monday post but here is an amazing picture that not only captures the flowers but a butterfly aswell! If anyone has a photo of lavender and an animal feel free to either comment on this post or make your own post! Also if you go to the classroom tab there are a couple different classes that I have made and will continue to add to. These range from starting your own lavender farm business, growing a few plants, or home to make some different products!

The picture is so sweet. What insects etc are attracted to lavender? Also are your classes in person or on line?
Memory Monday!
This is picture is from a lavender farm in Guatemala. It was definitely an amazing experience and anyone who travels should always try and visit a lavender farm! Everyone who has a lavender themed picture should make a post!

We were at Washington Island last summer. They have a big Lavender farm there. Washington Island is at the tip of the Door County Pennisula. You have to get there by ferry. Didn’t take a picture of it. The biggest part of the island smells like it.

Lavender Plants In Winter
This video goes over what we do with our plants in the harsh Wisconsin winter. (Hint hint, we don’t do a whole lot 😁)

We had 4 English lavender plants die last year. There wasn’t a lot of snow to cover them. I bought another one plant during last summer. It got established. In the late fall, I covered it with a plant cover. I held the cover in place with heavy bricks. I hope we have success. The area we have them in, is between a garage and a house. I think that the wind must whip through there. They do get good sun in the summer. Thank you for all of the information. I will watch to see if we experience too much wet and little sun like you did.
