WHO THIS BOOK HELPS Expectant parents who want honest, supportive guidance through pregnancy - especially those feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or craving something more real than generic advice. HOW IT HELPS THE READER By combining trusted pregnancy information, real stories from other parents, and interactive reflection pages that encourage pause, presence, and thoughtful decision-making. THE TRANSFORMATION Readers move from uncertainty and information overload to feeling informed, grounded, confident, and deeply connected to their pregnancy and the parent they are becoming.

I have a couple of hooks - Pregnancy isn’t just about growing a baby—it’s about becoming a parent. This book helps you move beyond checklists and advice, inviting you to reflect, feel, and prepare in a way that’s informed, supportive, and deeply personal. Or There’s no one right way to experience pregnancy—but there is a more supported way. This book brings together expert guidance, real experiences, and space to pause so you can move through pregnancy feeling informed, grounded, and confident.

I'm thinking the images will be graphics rather than photos. I have always wanted to include stickers within the journal pages but dismissed this due to extra costs... but I'm still drawn to them. I like the simplicity of the second cover page, I feel the image coveys quite a lot of information and sets the tone - she's pregnant (always a good start!), she's got a book and pen in hand (tells me it's not just text, there'll be action within it). I like both the 1st and 2nd fonts - very clear and easy to read with a combo of different sizes and colours.

I want to publish a book because I want to bring together my knowledge, experience, and creative side to create something that is not just read, but experienced. I want expectant parents to slow down, be present, and really reflect on what they’re going through and the kind of parents they want to be—combining information with connection, creativity, and meaning. I want this book published by December 2026. When this book is published the door it opens for me is being recognised as a trusted voice in pregnancy and birth education, reaching parents beyond my classes, and creating opportunities to teach, speak, collaborate, and support families on a wider scale.
