Closed a client last week on a payment plan and he used his moms card. Ghosted me and blocked me after he payed his down payment. Gave me his card to use on file for the rest of the payment plan (it is on a contract btw signed in his name to complete the payment). His card didn't run so his moms card got charged. The man signed up and signed his name in a contract to complete the payment. Just got the second transaction since i closed him and he is not responding. Is this legal and just what business is when they sign up and don't use the service but are on contract to complete the payment? Thoughts on this? Is this something I could go to jail for in the USA?
