Whenever you swap tokens or interact with a DEX, you sign an approval giving a smart contract permission to move funds from your wallet. Most protocols request "Unlimited Approvals" by default. Disconnecting your wallet from a site does not close that door—if an old contract ever gets exploited down the road, open allowances leave your funds vulnerable to being drained.
