Welcome!
Pages printed?
Who else has printed out pages from this week? I am super excited for this one. I read through Exodus 15 yesterday. It’s beautiful. I’m looking forward to sitting again tonight.

I have gotten as far as printing, but haven't done anything with it yet. We had a very busy weekend and I feel like I'm still recovering. LOL. We had a huge yard sale. Thankfully it went very well, but it's a lot of work!
✍️ Introduce Yourself
I’ll go first 🙂 I’m a mom of four, and life here is usually a mix of kids, coffee, and trying to keep something creative going in the middle of it all. I’ve spent a lot of years making things—sewing, designing, building little systems that help life feel a bit more ordered and meaningful. Lately that’s been turning back toward my faith and finding simple ways to make space for it again in the middle of everyday life. I’m not doing this perfectly, and I don’t have a polished setup—I’m literally using glue sticks and whatever I have on hand most days. But I do show up, and that’s enough. Your turn: What’s your name, and where are you right now in your Bible or journaling?

@Lisa Herring oh, such heartbreak! I'm so grateful you chose Jesus (and your daughter) over any number of other things you could have chosen in that moment. God bless you! I'm so very sorry for your great loss. I pray God's comfort and peace that surpasses understanding over you. 🙏♥️

I'm Denise and I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my sweet husband of 5 years. We were both widowed. I raised my 2 children as a single mom for 14 years, and he had his 3 children on his own for 4 years. Our first spouses both died of cancer in December, 10 years apart! I love God, the bible and journaling. Years ago, I bought a journaling Bible, lined a few pages with washi tape, made a mistake and never did anything else with it! I'm a bit of a perfectionist! This past September, I discovered Junk Journaling, and it's all about embracing the flaws and using what you have, even junk! I LOVE this concept for self-expression, and especially when it comes to bible journaling! God loves and accepts us as we are, because of Jesus. I have done some junk journaling and am now really looking forward to adding that faith component. I would like to start a traveling journal club for Christian women. I'm not ready yet, but just rolling that idea around in my mind.
A spark of an idea…
I caught my stepdaughter journaling in a Disney princess journal today — writing about the princess on the page she was on. She's 11. She's autistic. And she was doing exactly what I do. Finding something beautiful and using it to work out what she's thinking. I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I'm making her something. Little fold-over booklets I can staple at home — a Bible verse, something beautiful to color, a place to write in. A new one every time she comes home from her moms. Themes she loves. Verses about who she is, how to be gentle, how to be brave, how to be kind to herself and other people. Not a curriculum. Not a workbook. Just something beautiful that belongs to her. It’s a low pressure way to share the word with her and make it routine and prevalent in her life— and I think there are a lot of girls out there who need something exactly like this. Something that meets them where their imagination already lives. Do you have a tween or preteen in your life who journals, draws, or just loves beautiful things? Tell me about her. I'm building this with girls like her in mind.

I love this idea! And I love what a great step mom you are to her!! ♥️ I co-lead a group at our church called Daughters of Grace on Thursday evenings. On average, we have about 20 girls a week. If everyone came, we would have almost 30 girls they are aged 5 to 10. I would love to give the girls something like this.
🤔 Who has walked beside you in your faith journey? 💭
Scripture almost always names Priscilla and Aquila together, a reminder that God often builds His church through faithful partnership. Just people willing to learn, serve, encourage, and keep showing up beside one another. I love that the early church was built this way… around open homes, shared tables, steady friendships, and people growing in faith together.

@Rebecca Jerkins I always connected with older women in my 20s, and still do now in my 50s. (One of my close friends is 70 this year, and most of my friends are in their 60s and 70s.) I remember I worked with a lady that was probably 20 years older than me, and she used to tell me I was so much more mature than my age. I'm hoping now people think I'm younger than my age! 🤣🤣🤣

My answer is my BFF, Lisa! She and I connected immediately when we met in my early 30s. I had been a Christian for about 10 years but still felt like a baby christian. We did lots of Bible studies together and I felt like I grew a lot in the faith with her mentorship. We live further away from each other now, so we don't connect quite as much, but we still encourage each other in our faith. ♥️
