"Exercise is the King, Nutrition is the Queen, Put Them Together and you got a Kingdom." Jack LaLanne But what did he mean, exercise is the king, well let’s look at the benefits of exercise. When you exercise, you build strength, and strong bones, you boost your energy levels, and exercise helps towards weight loss, better sleep and increases blood flow; therefore exercise is the king, but does exercise alone enable you to lose weight, flatten your stomach, reduce chronic disease, the answer to those questions is a resounding No, that is where nutrition comes in. You see, you can’t outrun your folk, no amount of exercise is going to save you from a poor diet. In order to be truly healthy, lose weight and flatten your stomach, you must combine exercise and nutrition together. Jack LaLanne, who passed away at 96, was right!

Doctor's Advice
His doctor asked him to spend at least one hour per day on the treeadmill. I don't think his doctor had this in mind, do you? The treadmill should be used to burn off calories not add to them. (Just a little levity, to brighten up your day)😄

Yesterday while in PR, Sakinah and I were trying to stay on our grind. Eating right, I swimming, walking the beach, playing with the girls. We get in the challenge and hour early, time change but still determined. We’re back on and as always enjoy the nutrition session, which there’s always a takeaway! Thanks Fast forward, I’m now wiped out and hear the Zumba starting. I jump up and llook up and see this pink shirt on the screen. Me: Who’s that? Sakinah: oh shit that’s me! I’m laughing hysterically now. You put the video on? Why? S: Hell, you on too. I can’t turn it off! Me: awww hell! Now we gotta step it up! Lmfho S: we on Skool platform for life now. Me: now making sure I keep up, with my bonnet and matching pjs, lmfho! Waving a paper towel! Lesson: if you put your camera on, you will go further in the workout! Peer pressure is real and a motivator! Priceless! I’ll be sure to watch and do this Zumba class repeatedly!
