The USA is Actually 5,000 Years Old (And Here's Why)
Imagine a Roman runner being handed an urgent message from Caesar. "Take this to the outer provinces," they’re told. Months later, after dodging bandits, crossing rivers, and enduring the elements, the message finally arrives. By then, Caesar might already be dead, his decree rendered irrelevant. Fast forward to today. The President tweets, and by lunch, every news outlet and social media account is debating the message in real time. From decree to discussion, what took ancient Rome months now takes minutes. In terms of communication speed, governance, and societal evolution, the United States isn’t just 270 years old—it’s effectively 5,000 years old. Let me explain. The Tech Tree of Time Think of history as a "tech tree" (shoutout to all the strategy gamers out there). Each society climbs the tree at its own pace, unlocking new advancements like roads, printing presses, and the internet. Ancient Rome, at its peak, had well-paved roads and an impressive courier system. But even at their best, communication was slow, and decisions could take years to ripple through the empire. The United States, thanks to its rapid adoption of technologies like the telegraph, telephone, and internet, has rocketed up the tech tree. In terms of decision-making cycles, communication, and societal evolution, the U.S. has compressed thousands of years of history into just a few centuries. A Day Feels Like a Century Here’s where it gets interesting. In ancient times, a person might receive news from their king or emperor only twice in their lifetime. Today, we’re bombarded with major news events several times a day. Each announcement triggers debates, reactions, and policy changes in hours, not decades. If the pace of information is a marker of societal "aging," then we’re living at hyper-speed. Consider this: - In Rome, a single proclamation might take months to deliver and years to implement. - In the U.S., the same cycle—announcement, debate, response—happens in hours. If one day in the modern U.S. equates to 100 years of Roman decision-making, then 270 calendar years of American history start looking like 5,000 years on the historical speedometer.

Thank you for sharing this important reminder to slow down our pace enough to reflect. I love it!
Wow What Can I say?!
I just got back from a nine Day sprint, Took me 9 hours to Drive to NJ for two book signings and to meet with a couple of potential agents. Talked to store owners and did a free one hour workshop that I will edit and post here as an evergreen feeder (free on my group) still came home with Cha Ching from selling my $99 book and other merch... Here is what I struggle with... I really need a day off... maybe two. Does it make me less committed or weak if at 65 I need a down day?

Of course not. In fact listening to your body and supporting what it and you need is the epitome of SELF-CARE! Rest well friend. I'm sorry I missed you in NJ. The original date I was available for and the weekend I had prior commitments. Catch ya on your next visit.

When I leave after the Election...
My next journey is more than just a cross-country road trip; it’s an empowering adventure aimed at connecting with communities and sharing the wisdom of my work through book promotions, workshops, and interactive events. Traveling from Portsmouth, NH, to Fort Worth, TX, in a 40’ Class A diesel RV, I plan to navigate a thoughtfully planned route that balances comfort, exploration, and engagement with the metaphysical community. Over the span of a few weeks, I plan to stop in various cities along I-95 and I-40, with a focus on Northeast New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and more. Each stop is an opportunity to connect with metaphysical stores, their owners, and the vibrant communities surrounding them. With the RV packed full of books, crystals, minerals, jewelry, and other treasures, I will offer a variety of events, from book signings and crystal appreciation days to workshops aimed at empowering individuals to recognize their inner strength and “otherpower.” The journey itself will be documented daily, capturing the essence of each location, the warmth of the people met, and the experiences shared in text and online. Whether it’s a bustling city like Philadelphia or a serene town in North Carolina, every interaction and event will be a chance to offer support, connection, and genuine service to those who gather around the stores and spaces visited. Book Promotions and Workshops: Within my books, particularly focused on personal empowerment, spiritual growth, and connecting with one’s psychic gifts, will be central to each event. By engaging with store patrons and attendees through live readings, discussions, Online simulcast and interactive exercises, I hope to create an inviting atmosphere for personal growth and discovery. The workshops will dive deep into themes like recognizing one's spiritual strengths, using metaphysical tools for healing, and finding ways to connect with communities of like-minded individuals. Beyond formal events, I hope to also offer simple acts of connection—whether it’s stopping by to say hello, sharing a hug, or leaving a small token of goodwill. The intention behind the journey is not only to promote books and products but to genuinely support the owners of these metaphysical spaces and the people who visit them.
