🚀 Can You Reach Level 4 in 7 Days?
I've spent this morning working on something I think can make a BIG difference in this community: Our onboarding. I don't want new members to join, look around…and disappear. I want them taking action, making connections, and leveling up from Day 1. So I've rebuilt our onboarding around 5 simple steps: 🔓 Reach Level 2 and unlock posting 🎁 Claim your FREE Logo QR Code 🔗 Activate your EZ Bio Builder 👋 Publish your Welcome Post 📸 Build and share your first EZ Bio Page But I have a bigger goal: Get every new member to Level 3 (20 points) within 24 hours and Level 4 (65 points) within their first week. Why Level 4? 🎁 I want every paid member to earn their BONUS Bio Page. And this is where YOU come in. When you see someone new commenting, sharing a QR Code, posting their Welcome, or showing us their EZ Bio Page… Give them a Like. Leave a comment. Start a conversation. Those little interactions help them earn points, feel welcome, and become part of the community. 🚀 Ready to take the new onboarding for a spin? Head over to the Start Here Classroom and begin with Step 1: Your Level-Up Challenge. 👉 [START HERE] Even if you've been here for a while, jump in. You can work toward your next level while helping newer Bio Builders reach theirs. 🤝 We're not just going to tell people to engage. We're going to help each other LEVEL UP. See someone climbing? Give them a boost. 🚀

👋 Who Should Make the First Move?
You join a new community. What happens next? In some communities, you make the first move. You're encouraged to create an introduction post, tell everyone who you are, what you do, and why you joined. In others, the community makes the first move. The owner welcomes you personally—or includes you in a group welcome post—and existing members jump in to say hello. And some communities do both. I've been thinking about which approach actually makes a new member feel more welcome. Because joining a new community can feel a little like walking into a room where everyone already knows each other. Should the new person have to introduce themselves first? Or should someone in the room walk over and say... "Hey, glad you're here. Come meet everyone." 👋 Whether you own a community or simply belong to a few, I'm curious: Which approach do YOU prefer? Ⓐ Let me introduce myself Ⓑ Welcome me personally Ⓒ Welcome new members as a group Ⓓ Do both Ⓔ I usually skip the introductions altogether 👇 Tell us why in the comments. Then reply to two other people and compare experiences. Community owners might pick up a few onboarding ideas directly from the people they're trying to welcome. 👀

I selected E because of the type of community we are. I setup the warm welcome auto DM and then once they post to the Welcome post then I will reply to them. When you have members coming in back-to-back it's a lot to sort of do; upon each person entering. The DM is enough along with acknowledging the person once they have done what is required to get seen. Just my thoughts

@Marama Elizabeth Hello Marama, I agree with you - auto DM is useful and then they earn to be seen by stopping by onboarding to find out what is required. Then once they post I reply to them in the post itself.
