Day IV — Withholding the Response
You do not regain power by reaching outward. You regain power by withdrawing permission. What pursues you only does so because it is fed. What destabilizes you only does so because it is answered. The flame is not reactive. It does not explain. It does not pursue resolution. It holds. Today’s work is not control. It is refusal. Refusal to engage prematurely. Refusal to resolve what is not yet clear. Refusal to soothe discomfort by abandoning position. Directive: Notice where the impulse to respond appears. Notice the urgency to clarify, justify, or soften. Do nothing. Remain still until the impulse passes. Let silence complete the circuit. If you chase, the flame scatters. If you hold, it consolidates. Mantra: I do not pursue what destabilizes me. I remain in position until power returns. © Marsara Society™ All rights reserved.
