Sorry for my absence
Hola a todos. I haven't posted this past week because I've been dealing with the tragedy that happened in Venezuela. As many of you know, I'm from Venezuela, and all my family lives there. Last week, there were two earthquakes that caused terrible devastation. My family and friends are ok, but this has taken a toll on me. I'm trying to come back to my regular activities. Check my post about new materials. I hope to see you at the Conversation Club next Tuesday. 🙂

@Arthur Westendorf Hola!
Verb of the Day: Recordar
Recordar The verb recordar means "to remember" and comes from the Latin "recordari", which is formed from the prefix "re-" (meaning "again") and the root "cordis" (meaning "heart"). Its original etymological meaning is "to pass through the heart again," reflecting the ancient belief that the heart was the seat of memory, intelligence, and emotions, not just the brain. Algunas conjugaciones: Presente: recuerdo, recuerdas, recuerda, recordamos, recordáis, recuerdan Futuro: recordaré, recordarás, recordará, recordaremos, recordareis, recordarán Presente del subjuntivo: recuerde, recuerdes, recuerde, recordemos, recordáis, recuerden Algunos ejemplos: Te recuerdo feliz y vibrante. Ellos siempre recordarán esas vacaciones en Perú. Tú quieres que ella recuerde cada cosa que le dices. ¡Tu turno! Write a sentence using recordar in the comments!
