20 Day Conversational Spanish Notebook-Only Video Course
Conversational Spanish in 30 minutes a day, for 20 days, using only a notebook. This video course is a culmination of nearly 20 years teaching conversational Spanish. It's the exact way I teach Spanish to military special forces before deployment. The course is for anyone who is not yet conversational in Spanish. The course is NOT for anyone who wants to study Spanish in theory, but not communicate in real life. This is Day 1. You need 30 minutes, uninterrupted. And a notebook. As I build this course daily in the Classroom section of group, the early-bird price is $20. At midnight on Sunday, November 30th, the course will have its first price increase to $47. So sign up now, for lifetime access. The course is available ONLY in this Skool group. Please do not spend years and years and dollars and dollars chasing delusional methods in apps, books, and with teachers. There is nothing standing in the way between you and Conversational Spanish. We have cleared the path, simplified the approach, and built the bridge. As you'll see when you watch the first video, the method will empower you to learn as fast (or slow) as you want to, using the following principles: - Language learning happens ONLY when you are communicating. - Questions and Answers are a back-and-forth game (like tennis). - Language is a Creative Tool. - The OPI (military speaking test) is the only way to test your progress. All of this will become completely clear as you go through the course. And with these new language learning epiphanies, you'll realize that speaking Italian, German, Portuguese, Arabic, or any other language of your choosing can be a reality, too. Take a seat. Grab a notebook and pen. And let's think, write, and speak Spanish.

I've always been annoyed that I never learned Spanish. This just gave me the impetus to give it a go. Thanks @Tony Marsh !

@Love Zanella I do believe this is the GIF of all GIFs for language peeps. Welcome, Zanella!
Why do I "freeze up"?
Have you ever studied a language for a ton of time and then as soon as someone says something to you in that language you freeze up? If you don't go into that situation warm, of course you're going to freeze up. And no amount of grammar, vocabulary, or flashcards is going to help you. Real life conversation is the final boss of language learning. If you go in cool, or even normal temperature, you're going to freeze up. You have to go in already warm. The purpose of OPI training is to get you warm.

What times work for you for Practice Groups?
Please consider all times in Chicago time. A comment saying what language(s) you would attend would be nice too.

This is Creative Mode in action
In this video we are 'playing' Spanish like an instrument in a private Spanish lesson. This is her 5th class.

@Nathan Karvelas Hey Nathan! I haven't learned Spanish so I can't compare based on my own experience. Greek is considered more difficult, and learning to read a language that has a different alphabet comes with its own challenges. That being said, people have such different experiences learning languages that for one person, it might be easier to learn Greek than Spanish - especially if they are more motivated to learn it. Does that make sense?
