Agents of Hope is about mentorship, positive role models, and real conversations. We teach emotional intelligence, self-worth, accountability, and life skills that many of these young people were never given. We help them understand their emotions, make healthier decisions, and see that their lives have value and purpose. Through pop-up outreaches, school engagements, group sessions, creative arts, music, movement, and open dialogue, we connect with youth in ways that feel authentic and relatable. We don’t just talk at them, we engage with them. We build trust, and from that trust, transformation begins. Our mission in Las Vegas is to interrupt cycles of hopelessness and replace them with vision, confidence, and direction. We are planting seeds of hope, empowering youth to believe in themselves, and reminding them that their future does not have to be defined by their past.

What an incredible day at the juvenile detention center. We had the opportunity to pour into the youth, encourage them, and share faith and hope. The Spirit of God was present, and we witnessed salvation. We had a great time and are grateful for all that took place.

I’m De’Maria Shapiro, the founder and CEO of Agents of Hope a nonprofit dedicated to guiding youth toward faith, purpose, and emotional stability. Everything we do is built on that same principle: real change requires new choices, new courage, and new support. Through mentorship, open discussions, school outreach, emotional healing sessions, and our community pop-ups, we help young people break free from cycles of depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and hopelessness. We show them that they can rewrite their story, and we give them the tools, the guidance, and the belief they need to do it.
