My mom passed away 40 years ago today. She taught me the love of creating. Her creativity of sewing, crafting and canning taught me a lot when I was young. I was always the kid who had glue and scissors close by. That still rings true today. I LOVE art journals. Even though I have done many different crafts over my life…art journaling is the best for me now. This picture is me talking to MOM on a Wind Phone that was installed in my area. Yes…that is the wild stormy Pacific Ocean behind me. I currently live in Western Washington and the storms have been crazy this year.
