The first time I saw your video organizing a dj’s library and saw the steps you were taking and the kind of library you were creating on YouTube got me hooked ever since,Your videos are the best I found so far when it comes to music organization/preparation's in serato. I’ve probably tried and tested over 20 or more software that kinda does the same thing yours does but it was either too complicated, freezes a lot, Doesn’t have the feature I need, Pay to continue with service or for extra features or just straight up doesn’t work, So when I saw yours it was like I had faith again in my library because it was such a mess before, so I’m glad I found you. #bestsoftwareever 🙌

Ready
Serato Import Workflow (Work In Progress)
1️⃣ Download Music → (Auto-save in /New Music/) 2️⃣ MusicBrainz Picard → (Auto-tag Artist, Title, Year, Album, Cover Art) 3️⃣ Music Library Tools (MLT) → (Auto-clean genres, remove duplicates, sort by folder) 4️⃣ Mixed In Key → (Auto-analyze Key, BPM, Energy, Cue Points) 5️⃣ Serato Import → (Auto-create Smart Crates, auto-sort into sets) 6️⃣ Verify Cue Points & Adjust Colors → (Manual Fine-Tuning) 7️⃣ Move to Permanent Library → (Within Serato) 8️⃣ Backup → (Auto-sync to Google Drive & External HDD) ❓ Potential Upgrade for MLT: If MLT adds a database-based metadata fetcher (like MusicBrainz but DJ-focused), it would be the ultimate tagging tool. Do we need a 4th software for fetching Artist - Title corrections, or can MLT integrate this? I am really trying to cut back on different tools and looking to just use one main tool or just (MLT) for everything versus jumping from tool to tool 🔥 If MLT becomes one all-in-one software, it would be the best option for DJs because: ✅ It corrects & standardizes metadata (without relying on crowdsourced errors). ✅ It removes duplicates automatically (so DJs don’t waste time cleaning up). ✅ It sorts music into folders intelligently (so Serato crates stay organized). ✅ It could become the first DJ-specific tagging tool instead of just another metadata scraper. 💡 What do you think? Should MLT integrate a title/artist auto-correction feature to fully replace MusicBrainz? Drop your thoughts below! 👇🔥

Really love this idea and I’ve also been waiting patiently for MLT to include that feature. It would actually be a game changer.
MLT Organise Beta v3 Is Now Open. Limited Spaces!
*To get into the beta, send me a private message on here with your email address and I will add you in!* Sorry for the long wait all. After v2 I wanted to ensure that the accuracy of the genres and years populating your tracks was as accurate as possible so I have done just that! Below are all the changes I have made to this version. Take a look! MLT Organise Version 2.0.5 Update (06/03/2024) - MLT Organise now uses both the track and artist data to retrieve the genre and year, making the results more accurate. If the track’s genre is unavailable, it will default to the artist’s genre. If neither is found, the most common genre for that artist will be used. If no genre or year is found, it will be set to No Genre or 0000 respectively. - No More Remastered Years - MLT Organise now only works with MP3 files. Support for other file formats has been removed for now, with future updates potentially adding additional file formats. - Tracks without a year are now populated correctly, and subgenres will now be updated for tracks. - A new No Year Smart Crate has been added to the MLT Crate Structure to help organize tracks with missing year data. - Mashups and bootlegs are now tagged as Genre: DJ Edits. Hopefully you all will be happy with the new changes! Please let me know your results and how everything goes. Getting Years and Genres will be a bit slower than the last version because theres a bit more logic looking for the years and genres! I know there was a few DJs with LARGE libraries having issues in v2. If you have any issues going forward. Please let me know and I will work on that in v4 Thanks to everyone!!!
