WHAT DAW ARE YOU USING AND WHY? 🎶
Seeing as the last time we did this we only had about 100 members, let's get an update! What DAW are you mainly using these days and what about it has captured your heart? (Last time Bitwig was the big winner...) Vote below and leave a comment below briefly explaining why you use that DAW.

@Fabio Mancinelli @Lex Christopherson It is really good and also fast to work in. If you got that modular itch but don't want to go the expensive hardware route - this is much better imho. It just got updated and got loads of new great modules. A bit of imagination & this startout video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYBc8X2IxqM and you're off to the races. https://youtu.be/0XjR7d02TVY. It was in development by Ryan since 2011 and got its first release in 2021. An unknown gem for sure. (I like it better than bitwigs grid)

@Fabio Mancinelli Thats nice! Its def very user friendly, and if you need some support you can always have a look at the bespoke discord server. Cheers!
Why Bitwig's New Drum Machines are a Game Changer
In today's video, I dive into the drum machines included in the 5.3 Beta version of Bitwig Studio, focusing on the recently added key tracking feature, which allows for more dynamic and varied drum patterns by playing the drum sounds up and down the keyboard. I cover the different drum machines available in Bitwig, such as V0, V1, V8, and V9, and I demonstrate how to create a drum groove from scratch using these instruments. I also dive into the use of the Freq Shifter + effect and various techniques to add complexity and variation to the drum patterns, including using LFOs, step sequencers, and parameter modulation. The tutorial is detailed and aimed at users who want to get the most out of the new features in Bitwig 5.3 Beta 3. Download the project file here 📁

Hi, I'm from Belgium
I'm passionate about music since i was young, started producing music with the help of computers in '98-'99 with fruity loops. Did music professionally for 10 years. Besides music I love my family, photography & nature. At the moment i love creating hypnotic electronic music influenced by early 90s techno / trance. I'm using Bitwig & Renoise atm. I have one issue, i have toooo many tracks i start which i don't finish, also in this day and age it feels exhausting to put energy into actually releasing any music, so these tracks just reside in folders (which i have double feelings about). I love Tâches' inspiring videos, always to the point and reminding to just focus and go for it, so thanks for that Tâches!

check this renoise tool, you enter some words, it searches youtube/soundcloud/etc.., downloads the video it into a wavefile which you immediately drag and drop into the sampler - 5secs work.
