Upscaling Confusion
Trying to learn AI. Is upscaling only required in AI? If I create a design at full desired size, 300dpi, when I upscale it some elements may be more defined, but at the expense of color saturation being muted/a bit blurred; and, the file size increased. Yet when I watch tutorials for creating with AI apps, the same is done, the images look great when upscaled (even if they are designed at finished size and resolution). Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I use Photoshop because I feel it is a true upscale of an image from the AI 72 dpi to 300 dpi. If you use MyDesigns you can also use credits to upscale AI images. There are a lot of YouTube videos about upscaling and I agree, it can be confusing. Unless I find out I am mistaken, I am sticking with upscaling to 300 dpi in Photoshop.

@Renata O thank you for taking the time to write your reply. when I bring my images into MyDesigns after working with it in Photoshop, it shows in MyDesigns at 300 dpi and whatever size I designed for (like a tumbler) perfectly fits in the canvas of that size. What I like about Photoshop is the ability to use generative ai to make it seamless and touch up things I don’t like.
It Happened
I am totally over the moon right now! 🎉 My Etsy shop just passed 2,000 sales (!!!) and I’ve got an April Fools Sale running at 65% off. Someone just bought 35 designs in one go, and while I feel a tiny bit bad because they could’ve grabbed my whole shop bundle for just a bit more… I’m still floored! Had to share here because you all just get it — this group has been such a huge inspiration. I've sold over 800 designs since joining, and I’m so grateful for the support, advice, and positivity in here. 💕

IMAGE GENERATOR
What is the BEST or your top 3 Ai image generator ?

I just discovered Photoshop has a beta version subscribers can download; It has a generation section. I love it. It is a little like MidJourney in that you can use designs and photos as a "style" and it has several styles you can select. I used Bailey's butterfly prompt, slightly modified it and used one of my favorite styles to get the attached file.
Kittl for Students & Happy Memorial Day
Even though I am getting close to 60, I still enjoy learning. I was able to get Kittl for Students for half off pro - to get me started at least. Get my toes wet! Eventually, I would like to do Expert plan. Currently, I am not working, which makes things a little more tight. But we will manage!! Have a Happy Memorial Day weekend and stay safe!!

Welcome Barbie, from someone who will turn 70 in January! I love learning too. I also use Kittl for some projects. They keep making some amazing updates and I find their YouTube videos to be very informative.
Total Newbie!
Hi everyone! I'm new here and just joined yesterday. Thank you Bailey for accepting me into your wonderful community! Bailey's YouTube videos are what inspired me to decide to delve into an online business of selling digital products. She is an inspiration to me. The way she teaches is so clear and step by step that it makes it easier for me to understand, considering that I am a total newbie in this arena. I want to learn more, so I decided to join here to gain more knowledge about the business. Being a total newbie, it is overwhelming for me now. I have lots of plans in mind but fear of failing is always what stops me from starting. I have been contemplating of starting since last year but always fail to do so. Insecurity crept in and I would always tell myself that what if no one buys my products because there are others whose designs are better. I start to doubt my capabilities and then procrastinate. With the onset of AI tools and software, I became more inspired and determined that I should start now. These tools are helping people to design easily and better too. I have been binge-watching a lot of YouTube videos lately about it (especially Bailey's videos) and felt excited with all the possibilities! I have to start now. It is now or never! 😅😅 I am an introvert and feel hesitant and shy because all the posts are from seasoned artists or business owners. I am no expert but I am determined, hardworking and very willing to learn. I would like to create a profitable, stable and long-lasting online business that would be earning constantly moving forward. It would be a great legacy to leave my family with. Any advice and help would be very much appreciated and I look forward to continue learning and getting to know you all better. Good luck to us all!
