Why did you start your business?
I started my first business back in the early 90's because I want to study. More importantly, I wanted to study so that I could heal my anxiety and depression. Anxiety and depression was something I'd been plagued with since being a child and I just couldn't shake it completely. It always seem to return. With the recent awareness of ADHD and how girls (particularly) were undiagnosed, I've learnt more about myself. As yet, I'm not diagnosed as having ADHD, but I'm pretty damn sure I have it. And it's ADHD that has caused me so much stress, anxiety and depression over the years. I'll probably not get a diagnosis, firstly because now living in Wales, it would be impossible to get unless I went private or fought tooth and nail for it. I don't have the bandwidth and energy to fight tooth and nail. What would a diagnosis do anyway, other than confirm what I've been suspecting for a while. These days I prefer to learn how to manage and help myself with a condition that affects so many people. You? 8/30

I started my business because I wanted to inspire others to be financially transparent and to be able to drop the shame around talking money. It was in part to do with my Dad's passing as he was trying to change and be more open with me, but also I then had a kid with another on the way, and I wanted it to be different for them.

@Ann-Marie Clare As they say comparison is the thief of joy. I have learned I can only judge my progress on myself.

Do you have a Skool Community?
Skool have a new feature called Growth Boost. They are running ads to our communities. You can turn it off. Skool will receive 30% affiliate fees on any member that comes to you via their ads. For now I'll be leaving it on as I believe visibility drops by 90% if it's turned off. Images in Discovery have also become key as that's where they are getting the images for the ads. Meta crops the image which means it then shows up in Fb as a square or sometimes in portrait. Eeeek. Complicated, I know. For now I've changed my Group Banner for when they run ads. Here it is below. I believe the advice is to change it every now and again. This is the first one for now. Let me know what you think?

@Hilary L It is like any social media targeted ad. It will go by keywords and preferences based on your behavior. So if you like or stop scrolling when it is your group being served, it remembers and will show you more of those

A new name...
I've been doing some thinking about this community recently. When I started it, I called it Manifest Clients because I wanted to help coaches, therapists and healers attract more clients. But as I've worked with people (and reflected on my own journey), I've realised something important. Most of us don't need another strategy. We don't need another course. We don't even need more information. What we need is momentum. We need help taking action on the things we already know we should be doing. We need support when self-doubt creeps in. We need encouragement when we're hiding. We need accountability when procrastination takes over. Because momentum creates confidence.Confidence creates visibility.Visibility creates opportunities. And opportunities create clients. So over the coming days you'll notice the community has a new name: Client Momentum Club The heart of the community remains the same, but this new name feels much more aligned with what we're actually here to do. I'm excited for this next chapter. 💜

Changes are coming...
I'm going through Evelyn Weiss's Re(Launching) Challenge. Even found a way of using ChatGTP to help me as I've watched the videos a while ago, but not had the headspace to implement everything. Then I will start working on the Traffic Challenge that she has. Do check Evelyn out, she also runs the Facebook Ads for Skool itself. Right now I feel like I'm in the process of getting more clarity on the group and how I want to go forward. Life has clearly changed for me and it's an end of an era. I'm sensing that I may want to run my business slightly differently and maybe we'll do more traveling and I'll go more towards a Digital Nomad. Sounds a bit grand and exciting and I've no idea how it'll all pan out. Whilst I'm finding my feet again, do let me know if there's something that you'd like to see here and let's see if we can accommodate it. I've popped Evelyn's link above. Note, it is an affiliate link.

@Ann-Marie Clare It depends. On different parts of the country it is to accommodate for growing/sowing/harvesting. For others it is tied to heat.
