He put to words what many of us sense is true.
A Perspective on Freedom
Rudolph Steiner shares an interesting perspective on what it means to be free. He shares that we can never truly be free to the degree we are simply carrying out a habit or something we have deemed to be morally “good” In this case we are generally moving towards perceived pleasure and away from perceived pain. Or doing a task under the moral doctrine that it is “for the service of humanity.” In both cases we are operating under a code or program. These can arise from both our animal instincts, societal standards, or simply past actions. This is not to say these programs may not be useful in supporting us. Especially if we are aware of their nature and origin. He then shares that freedom comes from actions in which the motive comes from within. In the form of an intuition, that we then weigh through consideration before acting upon. In this way are moving from our center instead of towards something outside of ourself. Our moral action, instead of a principle of operating, becomes a deed that is fueled by love that emerges from an inner knowing. Thus to carry out this labor of love is fulfilling in itself. It can involve serious effort to develop this means of freedom. Luckily there are many tools available to us that help us to align with our center. Ranging from biogeometry, sound therapy, nutritional/lifestyle protocols, myofascia release, and more. I’d love to hear your perspectives on this philosophy.

@Eric Delozier Indeed, you are most welcome! My mind is a vessel abounding with thoughts and musings, yearning for expression. It is a rare occasion that I get to share with souls whose intellect can dance to the rhythm of my inner symphony. 😊 Your kind words are appreciated.

@Carrie Quinn Indeed, without a doubt! Our inherent capacity to perceive the intricate synchronicities within the tapestry of our cosmos, where the threads of existence intertwine and unfurl, reveals a profound interconnectedness that eludes the comprehension of many. ☺️

Before posting please ask yourself: · Is it true? - Am I expressing a fear, a belief, or a fact? None are right or wrong but knowing the difference and being honest about it is important. · Is it kind? - Is what I’m saying spoken in order to serve others, or is it spoken to defend or grow my ego? · Is it necessary? - Is it important that others hear what I have to say? Is it a question I cannot answer by myself? · Is it the right context? - Is it the right time? Is it the right space? Is it the right atmosphere? Is the other in the right disposition to hear what I have to say or to ask? Will it impact others around in unintended ways? We are not meant to be perfect in this, these are just some frameworks to bring deeper self awareness and consideration. Practice being open to new ideas, perspectives, and ways of looking at things. Consider what it is like to be in the other persons shoes. Please no spamming: links, etc Refrain from propagating fear, or other political narratives, ask yourself does this have value for the people I'm sharing with. Also is it really your idea? Refrain from posting obscene, or inappropriate messages or content.
