How to stop lettuce from bolting
Hi all, is there anything you can do to stop or slow down lettuce from growing too tall and going into seed? I will probably just pull it all out but thought I would ask the question.

CONNECTING WORM FARMING INTO YOUR GROW SYSTEMS
Did you know that by adding worm farms into your edible gardening systems you can take your whole garden to the next level? With today's growing costs at the supermarket, I feel it's time to bring back the Worm farming gardening systems and cross them over into the courses and my content. It's such an awesome way to grow food at home in a sustainable cost cost-effective manner. Any gardener can do it, whether you have a large or small space, and it's not too time-consuming. You can make fertiliser for delicate seedlings and give them an amazing head start. You can feed pots/ containers and provide a solid nutrient boost to mature plants to help with overall plant health and production. In the seed-raising course, I go over different ways to use worm casts and worm liquids and I plan to cover this in more depth over time. You will notice in the course materials that I will mention ways to implement and use your worm farms to get even better results. I feel that more and more edible gardeners are considering taking this path. Are you one of them? Maybe you're all already worm farming and having success, but what if you could master it even more? I would love to hear your thoughts below in the comments. Happy Worm farming Marty

I think I have only used my worm tea once on my seedlings. It would be good to learn more about it.
Marty will probably disown me for this confession…
Hello members of the Garden Creator Hub My name is Alisha, and worms creep me out… Now don’t get me wrong, I get excited when I see them in my veggie beds as I know that’s one of the signs that the soil is good, and last night I went on a walk and a big fat worm was in the middle of concrete path, and I had to go back with a stick and flick him onto the grass so he had half a chance, but the thought of a worm farm makes me squirm (pun ABSOLUTELY intended 😂) Can anyone help me get over this fear??? PS I love my worm castings I buy from the warehouse, so I know everything they do is good for my garden! Just the thought of a worm farm is a big fat “no thanks” 😬 Thanks in advance for any words of encouragement… 👍🏼

Hi Alisha. I was the same when I first setup my worm farm. I learnt from Marty how beneficial to the garden they are and over time I had to put my big girl blouse on and sort the castings from the worms and now it’s just normal.

Would you collect these Garden Creator vintage cards if I made them a real collectible series for our community? Which is your favourite and why? I look forward to hearing from you all in the comments Happy Gardening Marty

Hi all, I am Debbie. I live in Caringbah in Sydney. I have been following Marty on YouTube for many years. I have a worm farm and grow Veggies. I seem to have more success in Spring/Summer.
