I found something this week that got me thinking.
I'm inside Russell Brunson's Affiliate Bootcamp right now. Learning. Building. Figuring it out. And in the middle of it I came across a 1960s video of Napoleon Hill that I wasn't expecting. He talked about two envelopes. Every person is born with both. The first holds everything available to you when you use your God given gifts. Below are my top 3 from each there are 6 in each envelope. Peace of mind. A labor of love. A positive mental attitude. The second holds the penalties for never opening the first one. Fear. Frustration and discouragement. Indecision and doubt. Because I looked at that list and recognized myself. Not dramatically. Not obviously. Just quietly living from envelope two. Surviving instead of living. Coasting instead of building. Existing in a comfort zone that wasn't actually comfortable. Just familiar. Sound like anyone you know? 🌿 Here's what I want you to know. The moment you walked into this community? You started opening envelope one. You didn't need a plan. You didn't need it figured out. You just needed to recognize yourself in the second envelope and decide you didn't want to stay there. That's it. That's the whole step. Peace of mind? We're finding it together. A labor of love? We're building it together. A positive mental attitude? Some days harder than others. But it's always been yours to choose. Hill said so in 1960. It's still true today. 🌺 Which envelope have you been living from? Drop it below. No judgment here. Just honesty. 👇 ~Nanette 🌿

@Nanette George I loved this story about the envelopes. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
Here’s what to expect as we move forward
I want to be honest with you about where we are. This community is being built in real time. And I mean that in the best possible way. Right now I am working on building out modules that are going to walk you through exactly what I have been doing the tools, the programs, the mindset shifts, all of it. Not theory. Not someone else's story. Mine. The messy, figuring-it-out-as-I-go, Gen X woman building something real kind of story. And here's what I want you to see If I can do this? So can you. I am not a tech genius. I am not a marketing expert. I didn't start with a big audience or a big budget. I started with a quiet house and a question. "What's next for me?" And I just kept going. That's what these modules are going to show you. Not a perfect path. A real one. So settle in. Check back often. Watch this thing grow. Because what I'm building here? It's also a blueprint for what's possible for you. 🌺 Now I want to hear from you. 👇 Where are you right now? Are you still sitting in the quiet, thinking about what this next chapter could even look like? Are you already turning ideas over in your mind but not sure where to start? Or did you start and now you're stuck? Drop it below. No wrong answers here. Just real ones. 🌿 PS wish this were my work space. 😄⬇️

Catching up from a flopped Sunday
Well, my weekend did not go as planned. Let me tell you. I let the dogs out on Sunday morning like I do every single day. The boy corgi came back. The girl corgi? She decided Sunday was a great day for an adventure. 😩 We spent until 5pm worrying, searching, driving around calling her name like she was going to answer. Spoiler: she did not answer. She is a corgi. 😄 She came home. Safe. Unbothered. Probably proud of herself. And I thought about how that's kind of how this whole journey feels sometimes. You let something out into the world, a post, an idea, a piece of yourself, and you spend the whole day wondering if it's going to come back to you. Sometimes it does quickly. Sometimes it takes until 5pm. Sometimes it comes back looking very pleased with itself. But it comes back. The plan didn't survive Sunday. But we did. 😄 Here's to a new week that goes exactly as planned. Or close enough. 🤍 Tell me, how has your week been going? Did it go to plan or did your corgi metaphorically escape as well? 😄 Nanette (A worrisome Corgi momma) 🌿

We’ve had dogs like that too! It’s always frightening when they wander.
