Friday Night Campfire Question
What is something simple that made you smile this week? Sometimes the small moments are the ones that stay, heal, nurture, and ground us.

A dove that made her nest in my cactus ( although I can't tell the difference I guess the male sits on the eggs at night and the female during the day )
Thoughtful Quote:
"There is no path to happiness. Happiness is the path.” — Thich Nhat Hanh Isn't it true that it's hard to be happy if we continue to chase after things while the goalpost keeps moving? What if we just choose to be happy, period?

Friday Night Campfire Question
Tonight’s Campfire Question ☕🔥 What is something you’ve learned in life that you wish you had understood sooner? Sometimes those lessons arrive quietly… and only make sense years later. I’d love to hear yours.

Give yourself Grace
Do you over-commit?
Good Morning and Happy Wednesday everyone. Do any of you feel like you've ever committed to something that's turning out to be too time consuming but now that you're in it....you have to finish it, because "that's who you are," or "what would it say about ME if I didn't see this through to completion?" If so, what's your process? When this happens with me I don't typically feel resentment, but I do massively deplete and find myself exhausted. How do you handle things like this - or are you able to recognize it beforehand?

@Jennifer Kearney I agree it is easy to overcommit with family. Hey I am curious about your grandmothers autobiography on Amazon ?

@Jennifer Kearney Wow, that is so exciting that your grandmother was an actress! That must be incredible — I’m sure she had some fascinating stories. I’m definitely going to get the book and read it. Do you happen to have any of her dresses or costumes? That would be so amazing to see. Have you ever acted yourself, or did any of your children inherit the acting gene? I just think that’s such a wonderful legacy!
My 10 summers reflection
I wrote a bit in my blog the other night, after being far too busy, getting in a car accident, and remembering a bit of a book I've been reading... https://borumj.wordpress.com/?_gl=1*3mzaz5*_gcl_au*MTYyMzcwMjU1OC4xNzY4NzgxOTI2 How much more focused would you be, and what would be the focus, if you knew how much time you had left?

My sister and my brother both passed away recently. If I had known our time together would be so short, I would have done things differently. I would have made them more of a priority, spent more time with them, and cherished every moment we had. But the truth is, none of us knows what the future holds. Life can change in ways we never expect. That’s why it’s so important to make time for the people we love while we can—to call them, visit them, and remind them how much they mean to us. Time with our loved ones is the most precious thing we have.
