Collective Engagement Project
Collective Engagement Project Want to grow your reach without spending more on ads? Let's use the power of our community! The Collective Engagement Project is a simple way for Auctioneer Skool members to support one another by intentionally engaging with each other's social media content. Share your social links, latest post, then take a few minutes to like, comment, share, or repost other members' content. Those early interactions help increase visibility, spark conversations, and introduce your content to new audiences. How It Works - Share your social links: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. - Share a link to your latest social media post. - Spend 10–15 minutes engaging with other members' posts. - Leave meaningful comments—not just "Great post!" - Like, share, repost, or save content when it's genuinely valuable. - Repeat each time you publish something new. Engagement Guidelines - Be authentic. Add thoughtful comments that move the conversation forward. - Support posts you genuinely connect with. - Avoid copy-and-paste comments or spammy behavior. - Focus on building relationships, not just boosting metrics. When we consistently help each other, everyone benefits. More visibility. More conversations. More opportunities. And most importantly, a stronger community of auctioneers committed to helping each other succeed. Let's grow together—one meaningful interaction at a time.

One of my favorite Auto Auctioneers
Here is one of the best K. Mac! (Kevin McGlothen). I love his simple use of filler phrases and rhythmic words. Not a lot of "gobbly gook" ... Bid it 8, Get it 8, woulda give 9. So smooth and good... https://www.facebook.com/reel/1441831432770451

I LOVE and I mean LOVE a good autotune-auctioneering collab. It's the best!
What is your dream auction?
Mine is hosting an event with Ryan Reynolds. I'd love to be on stage with him as his auctioneer making an impact however I can. Here's a little flashback of when I got to share a sound stage with him.

I would love to do an auction with a few other female auctioneers for a nonprofit that focuses an area that I am passionate about. I see how it would play out in my head and it's pretty rad!
Auctioneer as Professional Solicitor- Required $50,000 Surety Bond
How many of you know that benefit auctioneers MAY be considered "professional solicitors" in some states and must (in Florida) register with the state and pay for a $50,000 surety bond? I just saw this today. I don't remember hearing about this in my auctioneer course (I may have simply missed it). I asked several Florida auctioneers I know who do benefits and they hadn't heard of it either- which alarms me that so many may be at risk. This is what I found for Florida: "....Under the Florida Solicitation of Contributions Act (Chapter 496, Florida Statutes), a benefit auctioneer working on behalf of a nonprofit generally must register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) as a Professional Solicitor. If you are paid to conduct, manage, or carry out a charitable solicitation or auction, you are legally considered a professional solicitor. Did you hear about this in your auctioneer course?

Colorado requires something similar- paid solicitor. It feels like yet another money grab by the state.
