Very nice indeed! I love the choices you made in the detail and abstraction. Using black lines in the socks was inspired!

@James Burgett thank you, James. I way overshot the values in the mountains when I first painted them, and kept trying to tone them down as much as I could. They’re still darker than I would like, I’m glad the color did some to create some distance!

I do like the color combination, but when it comes to it looking like the reference photo, it is just not even close! so, it was definitely an interesting thing to try, and I’ll be trying again one of these days soon. Might be with a simpler flower blossom or two, not something this overwhelming, though..
