Do you have an internal voice?
My friend just shared with me that 10% of people don't have an internal voice?? As someone who has a bunch of internal voices… I AM SHOCKED!!! Do you have an internal voice?

I’m consumed with words both internally and externally. Because of my training in high school and college, I type out words in my head and also write them in shorthand. You probably don’t know what shorthand is! I have many different forms of internal voices. No wonder I’m constantly having to quiet my nervous system!

Here’s an example. Shorthand was used in office work when a boss wanted to write a letter. He would dictate it to his secretary which she would write in shorthand. She would then type the letter out in words while looking at her shorthand notes. It was basically another language.

Days without structure
I recently left my job, and I told myself I’d have more time to do all these different projects I’ve been working on, but now with no structure to my day, I find I get less done than when I had a job. And now my sleep is all whack. I’m going to try to create some structure with something I do every day in the morning and something I do every day at night. Keep y’all posted.

Days without structure are great occasionally when you need a rest, but I believe we all do better with a schedule. If I don’t schedule it, it probably won’t get done!

Has anyone read Sarah Ban Breathnach?
With the move to Massachusetts and a cold I've never experienced before, I'm nervous for winter. But I found this page-a-day book at a library sale while passing through a small town in Connecticut, and it has me excited for the new year.
