🔵 Wednesday Check-In: MIDWEEK MOVES & TEACHING TRUTHS - Jan 21, 2026
Teaching not a finished race — It shifts and moves and finds its pace. You tweak, adjust, reshape the plan… And just like that — you teach again. Stick with it. Your Wednesday reflection: "What’s one area of your teaching that’s asking for more structure or clarity right now?" Just name it. No pressure to fix. Awareness first — that’s how it sticks. Don't forget to comment on the person above you - because we are supportive Acro Teachers:) ______________________________________________________________________ 📅 Coming up Friday: We’re kicking off a new round of the "Acro Foundations Framework" cohourt. For teachers doing all the things — but still not seeing the results they want. You’ll learn: → why skills aren’t sticking → how to bring structure to your classes → and how to build confident technique from the ground up 🗓 Starts Friday | 10–11 AM MDT 🎥 Replay included ♻️ Past students can retake it free Already in? We start up again on Friday — log in, the course has been refreshed. Ready to join? Head to the Plans page and upgrade to VIP Foundations Second round’s even stronger. See on Friday!

Welcome to Acro Dance School — the home for Acro Dance educators worldwide. This is a community-first space created for teachers who care deeply about their craft, about teaching with integrity, and about growing together. Acro Dance School exists to support Acro Dance teachers — many of whom have worked without a shared professional community — in becoming confident, connected educators who teach with clarity, structure, and intention. This is not just a place to access programs. It's a place to belong — and to grow. 🌍 What you’ll find here: • A global community of Acro Dance teachers • Conversations around teaching, safety, structure, and student progress • A space to ask real questions and share real experiences • Resources, programs, and courses all in one place 🤍 How this community supports your growth: This community thrives on participation. Here, you don’t have to figure things out on your own. Ask questions. Share what’s working in your classes. Celebrate wins. Work through challenges together. Learn from educators who value foundations, safety, and long-term progress. You don’t need to have everything figured out to belong here - that’s what this space is for. 👋 Start here Introduce yourself in the comments below in this thread: • Where are you teaching from? • How long have you been teaching Acro Dance? We’re so glad you’re here. Melissa Klassen - President The ADTA

Let’s kick things off with a quick pulse check!
Ok, we’ve got members rolling into Acro Dance School of all levels, ages, and stages — and I want to know: - Where do your strengths lie as an Acro teacher? - Where do you really shine? - What’s your zone of genius — doesn’t matter if you’re brand new or been teaching for 20 years… I want to know which “zone” you feel most at home in. 🗳️ Vote below — and if you’re really feeling brave, share your specifics in the comments! (Your superpower might just be someone else’s missing piece.)

I put "I'm great at pretending I have it all together", because the truth is this industry is forever evolving and being open to new ideas is what keeps us changing with the times. Having said that, the sword that I will die on is technique, but explaining WHY we do things is important and keeps kids engaged.
