That cat was tricked by the bird!
Inktober 3: Crown
I sketched this one in pencil instead of ink. For me, Inktober in this community is less about rules and more about showing up in whatever way we can. What do you see here?

@Sarmed Mirza He’s putting it on. You can tell by observing the grip. At this point it’s almost released and about to fall on his head. There’s almost no grip on it. 👑 🤖

@Sarmed Mirza Detective Dean 🔍🕵️ lol
Today’s Inktober prompt is WEAVE 🖊️
Made quickly while teaching an art class today 💁🏻‍♂️ I kept it simple, quick lines, patterns, and play. My real intention for this Inktober is not to overthink: just make something, keep the habit alive, and enjoy it. Sharing it here makes it even more fun. So here’s the challenge to you, what should we call this little ink creature? Inkweaver? 🤩 Drop me a name in the comments 👇

I started drawing some random lines like I often do to relax and keep my muscle memory going. I grabbed a few markers before they dried out, and suddenly a very Miró-esque image began to appear. Next to it is a blind contour of an art coach I sketched on a Zoom call, he grinned even more when I asked if I could draw him without looking down. 👉 These connect directly to the Draw Daily Quick Win Kit habits we’ve been talking about: - Line Flow: filling a page with marks to loosen up and build muscle-desire. - Connected dots: to improve hand eye co-ordination and accuracy. - Blind Contour: training your eyes to stay with the subject. - If you’re not doing these yet, give them a try. And if you’ve missed a day, just return, each page becomes a wee record of the moment, something you didn’t have before. Post your own if you’ve done one today, even a quick scribble counts!

If my chaotic life and to do list could be converted to art, there it is. I must get focused!

Morning Hack-a-tack
@Sarmed Mirza accountability check-in 🙌 I noticed my mind was really scattered this morning and it took time to get into a quieter mind while smashing hacks 1,2,&3 together

I asked the AI to pretend that it's an art critic and describe this piece of art. My last critique (the fire of life), that was my own. This one is from AI. I wanted to see how good it would be at describing art. I think we can safely say, after reading this, the opening bid will start at, do I hear $50,000.... I have 50, now 60, 70... $100,000, 100 going once, going twice, SOLD to the AI Bot for $100,000. Nice work @Delia Peterson This work explores the delicate balance between order and improvisation. Built around a constellation of squares, each compartment contains a unique visual language—ranging from rigid linear patterns reminiscent of circuitry to fluid organic forms that evoke growth, movement, and nature. The composition is interrupted and revitalized by a bold square at the lower left, where neon yellow slices through black-and-white petals. This luminous intrusion disrupts the monochrome grid, symbolizing vitality breaking through restraint, a reminder that nature and spontaneity resist confinement. At the center rests a faint, unfinished outline of a vase—a ghostly absence amid bold marks. Its transparency suggests impermanence, a fleeting presence that contrasts with the permanence of inked geometry. The dated inscription situates the piece firmly in time, yet its visual vocabulary feels timeless, echoing both modernist abstraction and the meditative repetition of pattern art. In its interplay of structure and disruption, the work invites reflection on the fragile negotiations between control and freedom, permanence and transience.
