My Aha Moment - ICM in the cloud
I've had a genealogy website for several years that used a commercial php based program that I've tried several times to better integrate with wordpress so that I could add other types of content, family stories, etc. It's never really worked the way I wanted. My ideal setup has always been to have a site for my side of the family and one for my wife's side and use the same database. As I thought about how to build something using ICM techniques I thought - why not just put the structure and MD files on the web server, connect with VS code and have Claude code work inside where the database and files already exist? DUH - I'm sure most of you have already been doing this. So, my markdown files detailed the locations of the current database and php files, the two wordpress sites and what I was looking to accomplish. I had it analyze the current program, modernize the database if needed, then create a wordpress plugin that somewhat duplicated the current functionality, add the plugin to both sites and test. And of course, ask questions if something isn't clear. While I tweaked the wordpress themes, it worked in the background and by the time I had headers, footers and menus built, Claude tweaked the database structure, built the wordpress plugin and added to the backend of both sites. Love it!

Headless GHL
Has anyone built a custom user interface on top of GoHighLevel where the dashboard and user experience are completely unique to their product, but GoHighLevel is still powering everything underneath the hood? I’ve been exploring the idea of vibe-coding a custom dashboard with a different look and feel so it doesn’t resemble the standard GoHighLevel experience. GHL has become incredibly powerful, but because it’s also becoming much more widely used, I’m interested in effectively “reskinning” it so the frontend feels like a proprietary platform rather than an obvious GHL implementation. Has anyone done this successfully? If so, what architecture or approach did you use? Custom frontend + APIs? Embedded widgets? White-label SaaS mode with heavy customization? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I know you can whitelabel it with your own branding https://www.gohighlevel.com/white-label-crm
🏆 WEEKLY COMP #3 WINNER ....
Before I get to the who and why, I want to say this plainly. Picking a winner this round was genuinely hard. I went through every submission. Pulled repos. Read identity files. Compared rules.md sections. Every entry did real work. A lot of you shipped something I would happily use, sell, or hand a client tomorrow. I can NOT explain to you how proud I am of everyone participating in these, you make this community worth and it and there is SO much potential for the future from just ONE competition let alone future ones. 💼 That part matters more than the prize. The $325 covers a year of Premium and that's great but... The portfolio piece is the real value here. A public repo of a working folder-based AI specialist with a clean README and receipts is a resume line that hiring managers can clone and test cold in five minutes. It is also something you can charge for. If you built a specialist that solves a real problem in a real domain, you already have most of what you need to license it to a peer in your industry, sell it as a service, or package it as a Done-with-You engagement. A few quick notes on that, because most of you did not realize what you actually built and I want to Highlight a few of you: 💸 @Nicolas Patron Uriburu USD Routing Coach AR could be sold to every Argentine indie consultor I know. Same playbook works for any country with FX restrictions. Subscription service, recalibrated annually, audit-pack included. It is a product. 🔗 https://github.com/Nicopatron/usd-routing-coach-ar 🔧 @Jannetje van Leeuwen RAMS specialist is a service business in waiting. Irish signage contractors will pay for this. Same model works for any trade with a regulatory documentation burden. Plumbing, electrical, fit-out, demolition. Each one needs its own folder. 🔗 https://github.com/JannetjeIQ/rams-irish-signage-installer

@Ruben Aguirre great project but you can't ask for 5 questions and then turn it into 5 x 5 too long. I'm fairly patient with tech and gave up myself.
Who's here? Drop your intro.
Tell us three things: 1. What you do (job, industry, student, career-changer, whatever) 2. What brought you to Clief Notes 3. One thing you're trying to figure out right now related to computing or AI I'll respond to every single one. And read each other's intros too because the person who's stuck on the same problem as you might already be in this thread. I'll go first I am Jake, I have been working in tech for 15 Years, building with Generative AI for 3 Years straight now! Excited to teach and learn! That's it. Simple, scannable, gives you data on who's joining and what they need, and keeps the feed clear for content that retains people past week one.

I've been an IT consultant for 15 years (I'm old) doing network management and tech support for local businesses and also some web hosting and design. I came here from loving the content on Jake's YT channel, especially the way he laid out his claude workspace. I'm trying to catch up with this fast-moving AI landscape to increase my value to my clients.

The client layout worked perfectly for me - I couldn't figure out a way to have a master claude.md & then individual additional specs for each client and their needs. Thanks for fleshing this out for me
