It's My Birthday! No Cake Please!
Hi Team! Today is my 58th birthday. I am going to pass on the cake and have a fruit and veggie tray at my birthday celebration. I will get to celebrate at league this evening, what better way! I ws born in 1968 so I am shooting for 19,680 steps today. What are your goals for today? Hanging with ALW last July!

If you weren't on the Kickoff Call I talked about the mistake most pickleball players trying to lose weight are making 👇 They're under-eating during the day and then wondering why they're crashing on the court at 4pm or binging late at night. Here's what's actually happening: Your body needs fuel to perform. When you skip meals or eat too little before you play, your energy tanks. (Which is when you need it most) The fix isn't eating less. It's eating smarter. You need to be fueling through out the day with protein and quality carbs and fats. Struggle with what carbs to eat for fuel? I have dropped some healthy carbs shopping lists below - eat lots from the fruits and veggies and some from the other. Hope these help
