Something My Own Book Keeps Teaching Me
I wish I could tell you that because I help other people with books, writing mine is always easy. 😂 It's not. There are days when everything clicks. Then there are days when I look at something I've written and think: “What am I doing?” 😂 🔥 My fantasy trilogy has challenged me. 🔥 It's taken longer than I originally expected. I've had to rethink things. I've learned more about my characters. And I've learned more about myself as a writer. ✍️ That's also part of why I share this journey with you. I'm not standing somewhere at the finish line yelling: “Come on! Hurry up!” I'm writing too. Learning too. Figuring things out too. We're walking different writing paths, and we're still walking them together. ❤️ What's something YOUR book is teaching you right now? Share it in the comments and let's learn from one another!

I completely understand that! Sometimes helping others with their books can make us forget that our own writing journey comes with its own challenges. I really like what you said about learning more about your characters and yourself as a writer. I think that’s one of the most rewarding parts of the process—even when the journey takes longer than expected. Your fantasy trilogy sounds like it has been quite a journey. What has been the biggest challenge for you so far: developing the story, keeping the trilogy connected, or simply staying consistent with the writing?
