Hello my name is Dawny, I come from a family of dog lovers, mainly rescues who have been abused and that is how we found our darling Chihuahua Eli, we found out from our vets he was so badly beaten that his hip and knee were affected and when he came to us, he had been living on the streets, Eli had a few issues health and behaviourally but we loved him so very much and he was so loving to us as he got to know that he could trust us. Apparently he never went to anybody (we were told by the lady whose house he was living under she was going to catch him and send him to the pound to be put down which horrified me), but Eli walked up to us as she was explaining this to us and turned over on his back and let us pick him up and we have loved him since). He passed away just two months ago at 18 years old. Our hearts are broken and that of our pets at home. We would dearly love to have another Chihuahua, hopefully one that Kitaco may see suitable for us that doesn't have to be a puppy. We have usually always got dogs, not puppies bar Gracie our kelpie (who was 18 months old), when we got her and she grew up with Eli and she is devastated and grieving like us as is Jack who we are caring for who was dumped by his previous owners family on the porch. We also had Eli a small Chihuahua cross Terrier who we had from a puppy, he died at 16 years old. Eli soon became Jack, and Gracie's friend and mentor, and both of them are absolutely pining. So I pray we will find our Chihuahua from Kitaco. We trust we will in the perfect timing. I feel very honoured to be here in the Kitaco family and if that is what we manage to achieve that is a blessing.
