What if you could create your own opportunities? ACTORS, THIS IS FOR YOU! 🎬 Hi, I'm Dawnnie Mercado—a SAG-AFTRA actor, NYU Tisch MFA graduate, and acting teacher with more than 30 years of experience. I'm also a YouTube creator, learning, experimenting, building channels, and sharing my wins and mistakes along the way. There is no gatekeeping around here! I created this course because I believe actors already have something incredibly valuable: the ability to tell stories, create characters, entertain audiences, and connect with people. Now let's learn how to put those skills to work on YouTube. 🎬 Start with 11 FREE videos! Before purchasing anything, you're welcome to watch the first 11 videos in my YouTube for Actors series. 🎥 Watch the free YouTube playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfaRVFvDYJvs&si=HitRGm_3RcA6cVpH These videos introduce the possibilities of creating a YouTube channel using your acting skills, exploring different channel types, and discovering what kind of content you might enjoy creating. 💖 What you'll get when you unlock this course for $27 One-time purchase. No monthly subscription required. Inside the course, you'll find: - Companion lesson plans to help you apply what you're learning in the videos. - Worksheets and exercises to explore your strengths, interests, and channel ideas. - Step-by-step tutorials to help you navigate YouTube technology without the overwhelm. - YouTube channel ideas for actors, from original characters and comedy series to acting education, storytelling, and more. - Monetization education to explore how creators can build additional income opportunities. - Future course additions as I continue developing and expanding the lessons.

I’m Dawnnie Mercado, a SAG-AFTRA actor, NYU MFA graduate, and acting coach. I’ve been teaching kids and teens for over 30 years—and I created this community to make professional acting training understandable, practical, and FUN for young actors. If you’re a young actor ages 8–18, a parent supporting a young performer, or a teacher looking for acting resources, you’re in the right place. And YES—there is plenty here you can access FREE! 🎉 Start in the Classroom with my Mastering the Basics of Acting course. I’ll take you step by step through acting methods, objectives, actions, beats, truthful acting, Constantin Stanislavski’s Magic If, subtext, and more. But this community is more than a place to watch videos. 📄 I’m adding lesson plans and practice resources right alongside the lessons. 💬 You can bring your acting questions to Course Q&A. 🎭 Have something you’d love me to teach? Add it to Lesson Requests. 🏆 And when something finally clicks—or you nail something you’ve been working on—come celebrate it in Acting Wins! I’ll continue building out the FREE courses, lessons, downloads, practice materials, and resources here, so what you see today is only the beginning. 🌟 WANT TO GO FURTHER? I’m also developing an optional $29/month upgraded membership for actors who want to take the next step. That will go beyond the basics with more detailed scene breakdown work, self-tape setup and training, opportunities for feedback on your acting work, and live Q&A sessions directly with me. The upgrade is NOT required. There will continue to be free acting education and resources right here in the community. For now, introduce yourself in General Discussion and tell me: Are you here as an actor, parent, or teacher—and what would you most love to learn? I’m so glad you found us. Now let’s get to work—and have some fun doing it!
