A big shout out to our founder @Samantha Blues who has recently won Scottish Hair and Beauty 2026 independent Stylist of the Year 2026 - Samantha Blues. "After 40 years in hairdressing, I’ve won SHABA Independent Stylist of the Year 2026. I’m still taking it in. The other finalists were brilliant. Scottish hairdressing has some serious talent, and I’m proud to be part of it. Thank you to Joanna Reed and the SHABA team, and to everyone who’s supported me along the way. I’m Samantha Blues, founder of Colour Science Investigation."

Congratulations on the big win. I came across you Samantha from listening to the How to Cut it podcast and loved your passion in sharing knowledge and encouragement for hairdressers to understand colouring hair. I am also a FHA member. I feel the award was long deserved. 🎉
