I am a discovery writer. I like to write my scenes how my creative voice wants to tell them. Then, I sum the scene up in Plottr. I capture information about my characters, about the place about my settings, and in doing these summaries for the scenes, I get to reflect a little bit and see where I can strengthen the chapter. I also like Plottr because I can move things around and generally keep track of what’s going on, but I don’t have to know all of the details beforehand.
