@Cris Wright i also decided to finally take this concept to the world after my wife got breast cancer in 2020. I reckoned if we had better systems and leadership philosophy, more people would be happier and there would be less stress overall. We know that stress is the major cause of inflammation and that inflammation causes 90-95% of diseases states and all- cause mortality. Therefore if we can make where we spend 1/3 of our lives, at work, less stressful there would be less diseases and less death. Therefore it’s possible to save lives, literally, and improve corporate performance through systems around the business and human biology. The most difficult day of my life was telling my kids their mom had cancer, and they were 10 and 12 at the time. I had already completed my Exec MBA thesis out of the USA by that time, and then said; damn if I had better systems before this maybe it would have been less stress on my wife and she might not have gotten sick. All it takes is for one free radical to go bonkers in that moment of stress induced inflammation, and it can start. Fortunately, 5 years later my wife is good and okay , but not everyone gets to tell the tale. And this is what I want to talk about. Not only save business failures, but save team failures and health overall. It might be big. It might be crazy. But that’s how all change starts; crazy and impossible, until it isn’t.
