@Mark Haapala I don't think audiences have changed or that's the reason for anything. It's that nobody knows how to do funny material anymore in movies. There is funny being done in television (example: Impractical Jokers, South Park). But in regards to attention span, that's why you need a good story. Anyone 50 years ago or today will pay rapt attention to a well-told story. This is part of what I'm teaching in MasterCrash. It's the studios who have not only forgotten, but actively hire incompetent hacks to do movies. Anyone seen the recent Naked Gun? Sadly, Hollywood doesn't want to acknowledge or engage anyone over age 50.

Intro: Hello Y'all!
Wassup everyone! Excited to be here. I'm currently working on a script based in the 1920s and mixes Noir elements parodies, gags, and whatever else I can think of. I guess for the sake of the introduction I'll share a moment really relating to Naked Gun for y'all. I had downloaded a ton of movies (notably naked gun) onto my school computer and would watch them in the middle of class when I got bored. Must have been my first rewatch of the film when my teacher finally saw the "Nice Beaver" scene from my computer. Awkward to say the least but cemented Naked Gun into some of my core memories. Excited to learn how to really add even more to my script and get to know some of y'all!
