My cousin's husband used to play for the Seahawks. Neiko Thorpe. We got training camp tickets to attend on the family side of the field. During that day, my daughter 4 at the time, wife and my best man a long long long time Hawks fan and season ticket holder got to go. At the end of practice, a bunch of players sign autographs before meetings. Jake Bobo was coming through, I was just watching my daughter who was front of the line but so small everyone was walking by her. Jake stopped and took the little helmet she had and knelt down and said hi princess how are you. She smile and the Bobo took her helmet and got a better marker and got a few of the other players to sign her helmet. One asked who is this for? He just pointed and said the little princess in her cheerleader outfit y'all are walking by. He then came back over and handed her the helmet and said thank you for coming out today. It was truly the nicest thing. Up til then only the backup tight end had signed for her under the crowd of kids. She was so happy he had pink hair and that made her day but when Bobo called her princess and got like 5 names dad, she now has a favorite Seahawk. When he caught that TD in the NFC Championship game, I said there is BOBO. She smiled big at me and said I like him dada, now let's play Barbies.
