(38 mins in) “No-one is researching the question, ‘why does the mammalian brain make DMT?’ My theory is that it regulates our sense of reality. The most striking and common report from people is that the DMT world feels more real than real. If that’s the case, and if there were a DMT neurotransmitter system, then it may be regulating our feeling of consensus reality.”
