If you could instantly improve ONE skill in every player you coach (not including shooting, dribbling, finishing), what would it be and why? You only get one. Would you choose: - Decision-making - Footwork - Confidence - Defensive IQ - Communication - Something else? Why did you choose that skill? 👇 Drop your answer below.

@Joseph Wunder - I need to be consistent with messages- post game, post practice, post skills. And in turn, make them consistent with that mindset at an individual level and team level. Any moment of head shakes, head down, negativity, remind them to play on...you are good/we are good! Until the team takes that messaging over...and they just say it instinctively.

What's Your Most Important Thing (MIT) This Week?
What's your most important thing this week? Think about it now. Post a comment below. Would love to talk about it! For me, my most important thing is getting one of my Pro Clients in great shape, ready for the upcoming season! And delivering on the 'Grow' phase for my DCB Mentorship members! Also - watching Team USA hopefully get a W in the world cup tonight... What about you?

I have both 3V3 teams going tonight. We practiced last night, ran some skills/drills, and showed them some of the 3V3 concepts we discussed. Also used the 3v3 Blind drill to emphasize offensive advantage AND defense rotation. Told them to play, not be "robots" and simplify their reads. Early help, should mean early pass. Late help, should be late pass, and no help should be look to score!

@Daniel Cooper - Reminding them to play. Ask each player at different spots on the floor, what options are available to you. They answer. I say good, what if the defense does this, what's available (and remind them, it's not a test, all answers are good because we learn).

@Daniel Cooper I initially signed up purely because my son won a basketball award that was announced on instagram. I haven't given much thought on the social media plan. I leverage your site to help my son and daughter individually, and also helping my sons AAU/Travel team. I haven't thought about the personal training part yet.
Middle Of The Week!
What's up fam! 350 members strong... WOW. Super grateful for each and every one of you. It's been a crazy busy / hectic summer for us, we are in week 7 of our off-season workouts with our HS / College & Pro Clients. Still trying to be as active as possible in here!! How can I help? What problem are you facing right now?

I have a younger group of players playing up a division (5th grade vs 6th and 7th) in a 3V3 league. They have been battling hard and competing, but more moments being robots than players. Any rules of thumb on spacing in 3V3, when to make a movement that helps the team create space?
