Is life really just suffering?
This has been on my mind a lot lately - especially with the struggle of getting back into the daily work grind after the New Year. Some philosophies (like Buddhism or even certain interpretations of Stoicism) frame life as fundamentally rooted in suffering or struggle. And honestly… parts of that feel very real when you’re dragging yourself back into routines, responsibilities, and expectations after a reset. But I’m curious how you see it. Do you think: - Life is mostly suffering with moments of meaning? - Life is neutral, and meaning is something we create? - Or is suffering just the “entry fee” for growth, purpose, and freedom? How do you personally relate to this - especially during seasons where motivation dips and the grind feels heavier than usual? Would love to hear your perspectives 👇

the purpose of life is to be present with the passage of time. Meaning helps with this because it gives you a reason to live. Suffering isn't meaning necessarily but it's a part of it.
