Cellphone or eSim for US to Mexico and India?
Hi Everyone. I look for to speaking about LLC's and stripe etc but I need to start with the cellphone question. I found you through James' YouTube on cell phone for US banks. He recommended Ultramobile and Tello. I'm an american expat living in Mexico with american bank accounts and I'm about to live in India for 6 months so I need that number ringing in the US for text and conversations with my bank. What has been your experience? Since the law prohibits sending a chip to Mexico I seem to have 2 options. Buy the chip with a cell phone and have it activated and sent or use a eSim. Can you give me some advice on this. Thanks for your help.

A question for those using Tello eSIMs - can you do a first time activation of them outside of the US? I have experience with eSIMs and have found some you can activate outside of the 'home' country of purchase (via roaming I presume), some you can't. I am in Europe but am interested in a cheap US number for registering on websites (received SMSs) and minimal usage like that.
What are you struggling with right now?
I have clients in every niche who are experts. I am exploring the idea of collaborating with them to create exclusive content for this group. Let me know here what would be most valuable for you right now. Also look at other responses and give a like if you are interested in that too - as we'll be starting with the most popular topics

Hi @James Baker! Love your channel and this community! I am a nomadic remote IT worker and my main two issues at the moment are: 1. EU client companies insisting that my company location (US) and my physical location (EU/varies) are the same. As soon as I start explaining my nomadic situation they either get confused or see me as 'high risk' and withdraw their contract offers (3 so far!). I'm considering setting up a local EU company to act as a pass through / invoice forwarding only or use another provider for this. Keen to hear other solutions! 2. Opening a US Personal bank account remotely/100% online. I'm using an EMI but I don't trust them for long term use. Ideally, I'd like to get rewards credit card as well with low/no FX fees.
