The Most Important Video So Far
I'm a big fan of both Dr. Myron and Dr. Ben... but I have to give credit to @Bryan Switalski for highlighting this video for me. This is JUST. SO. GOOD.

My favorite 10X verses - one area I want "great gain" is wisdom... ā€œAnd in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.ā€ (Daniel 1:20 KJV) Here's where I passionately want great gain... godliness and contentment. ā€œBut godliness with contentment is great gain.ā€ (1 Timothy 6:6 KJV) "The richest man on earth is the one who is most content." Not sure if i stole that or if its one of my own. Eitner way, I like it :)
Brand Building Update
Howdy y’all. It’s been crazy around here as I have a lot going on. I’ll be sharing more about that later this week. Here’s the update you’ve been waiting for… Ray what’s happening with you building this "Brand" I keep hearing about? Here are some facts. The ā€œnew brandā€ in question is my new ā€œauthor brandā€ that I am building as I begin writing and publishing fiction. Novels, to be exact. (Some have asked, ā€œRay, isn’t sales copy mostly fiction?ā€ … to which I answer, ā€œNot if you do it right.ā€ Back to my under-construction ā€œAuthor Brandā€ā€¦ I’m planning to write in several different genres (detective, thrillers, supernatural, historical… fact is I have plans to write in 12 different genres each with each genre ā€œsub-brandā€ consisting of one or more series, each series including anywhere from 12 to 24 books each). Does that sound crazy? It’s not. It’s very doable inside of a year, and I have specific reasons for planning for so many titles… And it has to do with making more money. More on that next time. My ā€œauthor brandā€ is under my own name (Ray Edwards) right now… but that’s open for debate This is a question that is relevant to all of us. Do we name the brand after ourselves? ā€œRay Edwards, Inc.ā€ Or do we give it a specialized ā€œbrand nameā€œ? (For example, ā€œMonster Breath Booksā€). The fact is that I often do I ā€œget the cart before the horseā€, and began I did it this time (with y’all watching. As Popeyes would say, ā€œHow humilgratin’ ā€¦ā€™ā€) So I started building the brand before I actually thought it all through. Why? It’s in my nature to get started quickly and then have to clean up the mess I just made. So… to give you an idea… I already have this massive brand built as a direct response copywriter and copywriting teacher. That’s what happens at RayEdwards.com. And the ā€œperfect adviceā€ would be to use a pen name (like ā€œByron Willowbyā€ or even ā€œJack Sladeā€) so I can avoid any confusion. And I will probably do that (probably soon, because the longer I wait to fix it, the more of a ā€œmessā€ I make. (That means the more URLs, redirects, graphics, etc. I have to fix or change.)

šŸ”„Flex Your Productivity Muscles
I shared this with my email list and thought it would resonate with many of the faith filled entrepreneurs here too. A large part of my entrepreneurial journey has been realising that Gods purposes fit very comfortably… Here are my current thoughts on a productive hustle free avenue to fruitfulness… I would say that I’m a productive person, although some might not agree. Certain people may even consider me lazy because productivity, to me, does not mean filling every second with carefully orchestrated activity. In fact, some days my productive activity may be sitting for several hours praying in tongues, or even watching a movie with my kids. I’ve discovered that the key to continued production is not: Busyness Time management Discipline Organisation Goal setting Time blocking Calendarising 5-minute rules 20-minute sprints GTD, PDCA, 4D’s, 5P’s or ABCDE It's far simpler and tied to your core. The number one productivity key for long-haul creative fruitfulness is joy! As the Scriptures so beautifully state: ā€œThe joy of the LORD is your strength.ā€ (Nehemiah 8:10 KJV) Strength and the sense of forward motion flow from the capacity for joy God has planted in your heart. This factory of energetic hope and unfailing production resides in your spirit. Strength carries you forward, keeps you enthusiastic through the trials, provides resilience when you fail or falter, and gets your bum back in the seat and your ear open again to hear God’s next instruction. Paul prayed: ā€œNow the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.ā€ (Romans 15:13 KJV) ā€œThat ye may aboundā€ Literally, perisseuo; to superabound (in quantity or quality), be in excess, be superfluous; also (transitively) to cause to superabound or excel: — (make, more) abound, (have, have more) abundance (be more) abundant, be the better, enough and to spare, exceed, excel, increase, be left, redound, remain (over and above).
