Hey guys - David from Jacksonville, FL Pretty new here. I am a commercial pilot and essentially work 1 week on 1 week off. Trying to find something I can do on the side and hopefully my 16 year old son can get going on this as well. I ran a Schwing 47 meter concrete pump truck a long time ago so do have some exposure to the construction world but not a lot. Done a ton of research on equipment, attachments, Facebook competition etc. Purchasing equipment (albeit expensive) is not a huge issue as we can bonus depreciate it so that will help me on another segment of my life. What I have noticed is in my area we have about 15 different companies doing FB ads - I am sure many are in this group as well. I can see that as a positive and a negative - positive as it means the area has lots of work - and negative is well maybe there is too much competition. I dug pretty deep and about half the companies are relatively new (at least as far as their LLC formation). Not really a factor but just a data point I am sharing. Either way feel free to share any thoughts, input, etc. Just wanted to say hello and get any input, advice, I can get my hands on!

Question, what are you guys doing about Facebook ad comments? I’ve had two comments left. One was telling me to stop mulching I’m ruining the land. The other one was a competitor that absolutely cussed me up and down for forestry mulching. Have you guys ran into this before and can you turn comments off on your Facebook ads? It’s not a boosted post. It’s an actual ad we run through ad manager.
