Demonetized
I had a monetized channel that was just demonetized after I began uploading AI music. Anyone have any ideas how to appeal?

The way to do it is to publish music through DistroKid first and then claim your YouTube channel with your artist music already on it. That way you get certified on YouTube, but then still you have to post videos to reach monetization threshold. Not sure how much official artist account protects you on YouTube, but if you know what are you doing and play by the rules it should be fine.

It’s the EU y’all. New law in the EU requires to disclose AI content. So I would assume that DistroKid rolled that out for the EU based accounts first.
