Who here is building a company?
I am interested in connecting with other founders. I've connected with a few, but I suspect there are a few more hiding in here. To get the conversation going, can you share: - What company are you building? - What founder problem are you dealing with right now that ICM can't solve for you?

i run a small ai lab. i am building a ternary training pipeline. my optimizer called sr4 is at parody with adamw (optimizer most used for ai training) and im in the process of pulling together what i need for proper scale testing. we can train 3.4b param models on just ~1.5gb ram. meaning we can train a 27b model on ~13gb. this allows us to train large models at scale on commodity hardware. we are about to start self hosting open weight models and hopefully selling inference. problem is we are building what poor people need to self host. on old commodity gpu's but poor people don't pay. so i have no idea how i will monetize what im building.

@Leonard Dauksza i would love to.
What happened to Claude?
Anyone else frustrated with Claude lately? Opus 5 used to be so good, but now it's just one big mess. Am I tripping?

yeah. its getting bad enough that i got seriouse about finishing my harness for local AI.
Client needs some devs/workers
I have a client in Australia who's looking for someone who understands ICM and can help him work on his software. Obviously he would prefer someone a bit more technical, but he's happy to have some people who are trying to learn as well. It's a pretty large software, but he's created a pretty good automated system and obviously he's using my methods so it's very well organized. Anyone out here looking for a project to take on the practice or learn more? Or is there anyone in the morning to get a little bit more work done at a higher level? He's looking for multiple skill levels.

qwen3.6 on k80
I'm an independent AI researcher. I got qwen3.6-35B-A3B running at 21 tok/s decode on Tesla K80s. Those cards are $60 on eBay and I can run 8 on one crypto mining motherboard. Nobody writes software for old hardware. So I did. Kernel driver, inference stack in C, multi-GPU orchestration. It works. All of it self-funded so far. That's the wall I'm at. I need capital, not ideas. Looking for funding. Angel, grant, contract, whatever shape it takes. If I get it I hire C devs and go faster. Reach out if that's you or you know someone.

Running agents on a schedule — how much do you let them do unattended?
For those running agents on a recurring schedule (daily/overnight), I'm tightening my own setup and curious how you handle two things: 1. Stale or wrong context — how do you stop a scheduled run from acting on yesterday's state or drifting from the current workspace? Cold start every time, a freshness check, something else? 2. Autonomy vs approval — how much do you let a scheduled agent actually do unattended versus leave as a draft for you to approve? Where's your line between "just do it" and "prepare it and wait for me"? Mine currently drafts everything and waits for a human yes, but I suspect I'm leaving easy wins on the table by not letting it act on the safe stuff. Where do you draw the line, and what burned you?

@Leo Saraiva the entire harness is file based. in the left file tree i opened the tasks folder so you can see the file. in the center is the Kanban, and on the right you can see the editor that edits the task. i dont have a timeline view fully wired up yet becasue i dont use this function that much. i used it when im working contracts and my crons send me a notification that a call needs to be placed shortly. i automate emails and texts this way as well. i dont let it auto place the call just incase im not ready. but texts and emails dont need me because i spend a few hours drafting them so they can just be sent.

@Leo Saraiva its stored in the md file at the top of the file in yaml. doesn't show up in the editor directly.
