Video AI — Chapters, a Summary and a Transcript for Every Classroom Video A classroom video is a black box. Nobody can tell from the outside what is in it, where the part they need starts, or whether it is worth the forty minutes — and writing chapters by hand means watching the whole thing with a notepad. Video AI does that pass for you: it listens to the video and writes back chapters with timestamps, a summary and a full transcript. You start it from the lesson itself. Open any classroom lesson with a video and a small film icon sits in the row of lesson buttons, next to the bookmark. It opens the Video AI panel, where you pick the output language and tick what you want built — summary, chapters, transcript, an MP3 of the audio, or any combination. The output language is free of the spoken one: a call held in German can come back in English, and the picker carries 28 languages. A progress view walks the generation through listening, transcribing and analysing, with an estimate of how long is left, and you can cancel at any point. What comes back is usable straight away. Chapters are buttons — click one and the video jumps to that second, no scrubbing. The summary reads as a short paragraph, the transcript sits underneath in full and scrolls on its own. Admins and owners get one more button: "Save to page" writes the summary and the chapters into the lesson description as real Skool content, with the chapter timestamps as clickable jump marks and the MP3 attached as a file — so every member sees it on the page itself, whether or not they use the Extension. Generated details are kept with the lesson and shared with your community: once anyone has run a video, every member who opens that lesson sees the panel with the chapters, summary and transcript in it. The generation itself is VIP; reading what already exists is free for everyone. Admins can also link a lesson to the live call it came from, which brings that call's attendance and chat into the same panel.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 — 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 Skool added community reviews in August 2026: members rate a community from one to five stars and write a few sentences about it. Those reviews live on your About page — a place most members visit once, when they join, and never again. The Extension puts them where people actually look. The unlock is a community-level decision by the owner. As a VIP owner you flip on "Community Reviews" in the Extension Settings and pick which of your communities it applies to. From that moment, every member with the Extension — including free users — sees a Reviews column in the community stats box, showing your average as stars and the number of ratings. One click opens the full list: every review with the rating, the reviewer's avatar and name, the text and the date, loading more as you scroll through them. Members don't configure anything; the column simply appears. For you as the owner, three more places light up. The Skool Dashboard gets a Reviews tile with your average across all your communities — weighted by how many ratings each one has, so a community with two reviews doesn't count as heavily as one with two hundred. Clicking it opens the reviews right there. Every new review also arrives as a notification, with the stars and the review text in the message itself, so you can tell a five-star cheer from a one-star complaint without opening anything. And the Workflow Builder gets a "New review" trigger. It fires per community and carries the reviewer as the connected person, which means a thank-you DM to anyone who leaves five stars is a two-minute setup. You pick which star ratings should fire — one to five, any combination — so praise and criticism can run completely different workflows: a warm reply above four stars, an instant alert to yourself below three. An optional keyword narrows it further, and `#RATING#` and `#REVIEW#` drop the stars and the review text into your message. Nothing here is published that Skool keeps private — the reviews are already public on your About page. What the unlock decides is whether the Extension shows them more prominently, and that stays your call, per community.

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 — 𝗔 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Skool's native reactions in live calls are short-lived emoji bubbles that fade out after a couple of seconds. That works for clapping or laughing, but it breaks for "I have a question" — the host turns away for a moment, your reaction has already disappeared, and now nobody knows you raised your hand. Raise Hand fixes this by combining a real reaction broadcast with a persistent, visible hand icon on your participant tile. Click the new raise-hand button between the mic and camera controls in the live call toolbar — a hand icon appears in the top-left of your own tile and stays there until you click again. Other participants who have the toolkit installed see the same persistent hand icon on your tile in their view. A second click takes the hand back down and the icon vanishes everywhere. Participants without the toolkit still see Skool's normal short-lived reaction bubble, so nothing is broken for them — they just lose the persistent badge. Admins get an extra power: from the live members list (the toolkit's per-call participant panel), an admin can force-lower any participant's hand. Every other toolkit picks that up and clears the hand icon for that specific user. This solves the otherwise-awkward case where a member raised their hand, got their question answered, and then forgot to lower it — the admin can clean up without nagging the member.
