Pulling up a seat at Solomon's Table
Hello Gentlemen, It is an honor to be invited to this group, as I read the purpose and find myself in this world as a man under 30, my goal is to live a stable successful life, raise a healthy family and be a man of good reputation I am still figuring myself out, but earning a degree and going out to the world means morz risks for me, I definitely want to learn more about relationship dynamics and the world of women as dating lately us all time challenging, I think King Solomon aura with women was legendary and I am keen to learn how to reproduce that

Day 2 - The Warning
Day 2 – Most Men Fall After Success Most men don’t fall when life is hard. They fall when: - Money increases - Options increase - Accountability disappears That’s how Solomon fell, not from ignorance, but from unguarded strength. 👉 Question: Where do you feel most at risk right now as your responsibilities increase?

Probably first and foremost for me, I do not take care of myself. I always put others first, and I am a distant 8th or 9th. And I notice when I do that, in the long run, my “give a damn” goes away, and I stop taking care of me - sleep decreases, stress increases, exercise decreases, etc. I hate it, but once I get to that point, it takes a lot to get it back and get me back on track.
The Gift That Opened the Door
Most men don’t stumble into influence by accident. A gift opened the door. For Solomon, it was wisdom. For others, it’s leadership, communication, discipline, charisma, or the ability to produce results. Today, let’s start at the beginning. Reflection: What gift has opened the most doors for you in life? Tell the story of when you first realized, “This is something God has placed in me.” No editing. No impressing. Just tell the truth.

A couple of things come to mind when I read this prompt. I have a love of learning, whether through classes, reading, or sitting in on lectures/talks. I also have a love of writing - poetry and songs (lyrics) specifically. But I have not written in about 15 years. (Would love to try and start that back up). And lastly, I feel that I am very relational. Especially in my field of insurance sales and marketing, building relationships is key.
Pulling Up a Seat at Solomon’s Table
What up my Brother's?! I'm Brandon Favors and I am at Solomon’s Table because I want to finish well. That is one of the most important goals of my life. Being connected to other godly men who want to please the Lord is another reason I am here. It is very difficult to find biblically sound, heart centered men's groups. The aspect that challenges me the most is success, that is, spiritual success. There is still a part of me that hates the time I wasted away from the Lord, so in a way I am trying to do all I can to be what I am supposed to be. At the moment I would describe myself as a man engulfed in transformation!

Thank you for sharing. Finishing well is important. Reading what you said, it reminds me of Hebrews 12:1, in Paul's last days, when he said "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us..."
