My connection with SKOOL and the Way of mastery started with a wonderful site run by two friends, Jenine and Fiona, titled "Being the Way of Mastery.". This is a Way of Mastery study site with multiple groups practicing the Way of the Heart and subsequent courses, the Way of Transformation and Knowing, as they were originally studied and recommended, one month at a time. That is a rare and precious thing, and for people interested in following with a group in this way, I strongly recommend this site. This site (here) is not focused on doing the lessons per say, but is instead a support community for those who are just getting to know WOM, those doing the lessons, and for those who have completed them. Jeshua begins the entire pathway with a radical claim: Nothing sources your experience but you, in each moment. This does not mean that events do not occur in the world. It means that experience itself is not created by events. Experience is created by the meaning, interpretation, and perception we bring to those events. Two people can stand in the same moment and live in completely different worlds. One experiences fear. Another experiences peace. One experiences attack. Another experiences opportunity for forgiveness. The event may be the same. But the experience is not. And that difference comes from the mind that is interpreting it. Why This Matters If our experience were determined by events outside ourselves, then freedom would be impossible. We would be permanently at the mercy of the world. But if experience arises through perception, something extraordinary becomes possible. We can begin to change the experience of life itself. Not by controlling the world, but by transforming the mind. This is why Jeshua says the entire purpose of the teaching is to retrain perception. The Entire Trilogy in One Movement Seen this way, the three books of the trilogy form a progression: The Way of the Heart Learning to observe the mind and reclaim responsibility for perception. The Way of Transformation Dissolving the deeper structures of fear and illusion that shape perception. The Way of Knowing Stabilizing the awareness of one's true nature beyond the egoic mind. Each stage deepens the same realization: that the mind has been mistaking its own interpretations for reality. ~ The Quiet Revolution When this insight begins to take root, something subtle but powerful happens. The mind becomes less reactive. Judgment softens. Blame begins to dissolve. And a new possibility begins to appear: the ability to choose love instead of fear. That is why Jeshua calls this pathway The Way of the Heart. It is not about adopting new beliefs. It is about gradually remembering the deeper awareness that has always been present beneath the mind’s confusion.

The Way of Mastery is a pathway of enlightenment designed to meet the student wherever they are, and lead them into the realization of their higher self. It consists of a series of channeled teachings from Jeshua (Jesus), given for this age. Some are said to be teachings he Himself was given in His life. It is stated in multiple ways. Two of several examples: “I am Pure Spirit, undefiled and unaffected by anything or anyone. I am given full power to choose and, therefore, to create my experience as I would have it be.” And again: “I am created as my Father created me to be. I am free. And nothing sources my experience but me, in each moment. Nothing has an effect upon me, whatsoever, save that which I choose to allow to affect me.” The simplicity of the message is that freedom is an aspect of Love, and God is Love, and therefore we are free. This theme echoes a similar quote from the well known A Course in Miracles (ACIM),which occurs well into the text: “It is impossible the Son of God be merely driven by events outside of him. It is impossible that happenings that come to him were not his choice. His power of decision is the determiner of every situation in which he seems to find himself by chance or accident.” However, while this theme emerges over 400 pages into the ACIM text, it is the very first axiom shared at the very start of The Way of the Heart. Jeshua is making it clear that not only are we free, but that our experience is created solely by what we choose to put our attention on. From lesson one of The Way of the Heart:

Students usually discover The Way of Mastery (WOM) in one of two ways. This is because over time, two organizations have helped bring the teachings to the world. Each has had its own focus in presenting and supporting the pathway. In many ways this is natural. When a spiritual teaching begins to touch many lives, different communities and teachers often emerge around it. Each may present the material in ways that resonate with different groups of students. From our perspective, the important thing is not which doorway someone entered through. The important thing is the teaching itself. Both streams have always affirmed that these teachings ultimately belong to Jeshua, not to any individual or organization. And since there is no division in Him, we tend to see the different expressions of the pathway as simply different ways the teachings have reached sincere students. This community welcomes students from any part of the Way of Mastery world. Our focus here is simply the remarkable depth, beauty, and transformative power of the teachings themselves. ~ BRANCH ONE - THE SHANTI CHRISTO FOUNDATION The Shanti Christo Foundation (SCF), often mentioned in the WOM texts, was created in the early years of The Way of Mastery. Its purpose was to help steward sacred land that had been purchased in New Mexico under Jeshua’s guidance and to help distribute the teachings. In the beginning the teachings were shared primarily through audio recordings, and later through published books.
