Praying Together
I was told early in our marriage about the importance of praying together as a couple. In some cases, we were told a frequency, and in other cases, we were not. What has been your (the group's) experience with praying together, and how often do you pray together?

I'm sorry to hear that. Did he give you a reason or reasons?
Why are you grateful for your spouse?
Drop one line in the comments: “I’m grateful for my spouse because…” Need ideas? – They show up for our family – They give grace – They make me laugh – They pray for us – They work hard – They choose us daily Your turn. ❤️

One of the challenges I face is getting my wife to see beyond her belief system. If I share something about how I feel and it does not fit into her worldview, she gives it a nice head nod and keeps things the old way
Learn from our mistakes
Here are the 3 ways we’ve learned (the hard way 😅) to break the argument cycle and actually feel heard: 1️⃣ Pause Before You React “Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” — James 1:19 (NLT)Take a breath. Pray before you reply. The pause is powerful. 2️⃣ Listen to Understand, Not DefendTry saying: “What I hear you saying is…” instead of “You always…”Connection starts when you stop trying to win. 3️⃣ It’s You + Me vs. The ProblemYou’re not enemies — you’re a team. The real enemy is division. “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit…” — Ephesians 4:2–3 (NLT) 🧠 This Week’s Challenge: Next time tension rises, stop mid-argument and say: “Let’s pray before we keep going.” It might feel awkward at first, but peace will enter the room faster than pride can speak. 🙏

@Bryan Fitting What powerful words. In my rush to show my value in the marriage, I look for ways to fix things and not engage in the space she is in.
New Week - New Opportunity
I hope your week was AWESOME! 🙌 But if it wasn’t, don’t worry — God’s mercies are new every morning. Tomorrow is a fresh opportunity to shine His light, walk in His grace, and trust that He’s still working all things for your good. ✨ (Lamentations 3:22–23)
