Shipping Label printer
Can anyone recommend a thermal shipping label printer with Bluetooth and WiFi. The ones I've seen are only Bluetooth. Thanks
Vinted down
For info, Vinted has been intermittent over the past hour or two, I believe their servers are down! Just incase you are having any issues logging in etc 👍

I was getting the server problems error on their website and app. All OK and back up and running now though.
My Introduction
Good afternoon Sellers! My name is Dafydd and I have a background in IT. Although my job is fulfilling financially the dream is to become a full time reseller and start to make a living on my terms, not the terms dictated by my employer. The reselling started off as a way to fund a holiday, but quickly escalated to paying for home improvements and other possibilities. Something which im hoping will continue. What has suprised me in the last few months is how much I enjoy the sourcing, listing and selling, to the point where it doesn't feel like working! Looking forward to chase the dream with you all!

Hi Dafydd. Snap, my background is many years in the IT field. Past business experience which comes in handy. Started in June this year with my reselling after leaving my last job. Selling off my old IT kit and computer parts, and soon became addicted to the sourcing, listing and selling on online platforms. Branched out into selling anything, computer parts, books, PS games, DVDs, mens clothing.
New to this
Hi, my name is Andrew. I live in Oxfordshire and am 57 years old. I am completely new to online selling and am interested in learning and seeing if I can make some revenue. I have been doing some research but am unclear as to how to start aside from listing my own items from my house. I see lots of people hawking mentoring services to sell on ebay, vinted, Amazon FBA etc. but they feel like a scam to me. Perhaps I am wrong about that. Anyway looking to learn and hopefully contribute later on. I'm interested in all sorts of categories: clothes, upcycling, arbitrage.

Hi Andrew, if you're looking to be a serious reseller I would suggest keeping financial records (sales and stock purchases and expenses) from day one. Your expenses and sales soon add up and once you get to a certain sales number you will be required to declare that income. Ebay have some really good reporting but I'm quite new to Vinted but what I've seen their reporting is not as easy to use.
Going Business Route
OK, I have tried out online reselling and feel it is time to go down the official business route. I haven't made the £1000 marker yet but not far from it. I intend to - register as a sole trader and register for self assessment with HMRC. - Setup new Pro accounts on eBay and Vinted. Is it best to setup a business bank account, or could I use a personal account? There seems to be a selection of banks which offer free business banking for the small business. I am looking at keeping my personal Vinted account as I read/watched others who purchase their stock on their personal account and resell the items on their pro account. If so, how to they account for that expense in their accounts? My family have gifted me a large number of items for me to sell online, would these be classed as personal or business sales? Thanks for any feedback. 😀
