Hey everyone, I’m Davaungh. I’m currently embarking on my first year as a fully licensed teacher here in the States, which has been both exciting and humbling. My path into education all be it a long story. Most recently, has come through the iTeach program, which allows people with non educational degrees to become teachers. What I really appreciate about it is how it encourages us to embrace AI tools to make teaching more effective. AI has quickly become a big part of my daily routine. I use it to support everything from lesson planning to streamlining administrative tasks, which frees up more time to focus on my students. My favorite tool so far has been Khanmigo, since it’s designed with educators in mind and feels like having a teaching partner who’s always ready to brainstorm or handle some of the behind-the-scenes work. I’d love to set up an online meet-and-greet with you all—I think it would be a great way to share experiences, swap ideas, and continue building this community together. Just let me know what times work best for everyone! Personally weekends work best.
